Help

Three things, about 30 seconds each. If you get stuck, reply to any email from the Photo Group website, or ask one of the organizers.

Signing in

  1. The first time, use the Set your password email you were sent. Click its button and choose a password of at least 10 characters. A short phrase is easiest to remember, like blue heron at dawn.
  2. After that, go to the website and sign in with your email address and that password. Leave Keep me signed in on this device ticked on your own computer or iPad and you won't be asked again for months.
  3. Forgot your password? Click Forgot your password? on the sign-in page and we'll email you a link to choose a new one. It lasts an hour. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.

Five wrong tries in a row locks the account for 15 minutes, then you can try again.

Adding your photos

  1. On the home page, press Add my photos under this Thursday. (Or open the meeting from the Schedule.) The reminder email has the same button.
  2. Drag your photos onto the page, or press Choose photos and pick them. JPEG, PNG, HEIC (iPhone) or TIFF, up to 300 MB each. You'll see each one load.
  3. Put them in order by dragging them, or with the up and down arrows. Add a title and caption if you like; they save by themselves and show on screen with the photo.
  4. Press Preview my slides to see them as everyone will. That's it: they'll be in the show.

Lightroom tip: titles and captions you set there come in with the photo. Camera settings are shown; where a photo was taken never is. Only you and the admins can download your original files.

Watching the show

  1. Join Zoom as usual for faces and voices, on a laptop, tablet or phone.
  2. On your biggest screen, press Open viewer on the home page, then Start viewing full screen.
  3. Everyone sees the same photo. Anyone can move the show on: whoever presses → first moves every screen.

On an iPad, swipe left and right. A presentation clicker works too.
